Using AI Alongside Your Provider for HIV Care

Dr. Michael Majeski, PsyD, who has provided mental health care to people living with HIV in San Diego for over four decades, will focus on mental health in PLWH.

CUATRO: CAB and RPV Ultra Long-Acting for Treatment of People with HIV

  • Comparing the every-2-month CAB/RPV LA to the every-4-month CAB/RPV ULA. Switch off oral ART to injectable.
  • Participants cannot have ever received any long-acting ARVs.
  • The project is looking to recruit mostly diverse populations, so spots for white men are limited unless they are under 24.
  • Participants are paid $100 per visit.

A5424: Menopausal Hormone Therapy for Women Living with HIV

  • Women 40–60 who experience vasomotor symptoms and are on suppressive ART.
  • No changes to ART.
  • Two arms, 2:1 randomization. Arm 1 is estradiol transdermal gel plus oral progesterone daily for 12 weeks. Arm 2 is placebos to match.
  • Daily symptom diaries, weekly telephone check-ins, and 5 in-person visits.
  • $50 per visit, $25 per phone call, $250 for diaries.
